Where's my badge?

I've tried for years to get on a health kick, to be healthier, stronger, more mentally sound. And then, in 2023 I received a life changing gift for Valentine's Day... a Garmin watch. I had an incredible partner who knew I wanted to be healthier, but struggled to start and get into a workout routine. He committed to being my accountability partner, supported me and encouraged me to move every day, to work towards my goals. We worked on the monthly badges together, including 100,000 steps in the first 14 days of the month, 300,000 steps in the month, the special weekends that had a badge for going on a 3 mile outing, just to name a few. Needless to say, I felt seen, and also accomplished, when I crushed these feats and earned my badge. The badges don't actually do anything, just a collection. But they've motivated me to create and live a more healthy lifestyle.      

                   

  

 



Now that I have my exercise pretty established, I want to start working on more healthy, wholesome, consistent eating habits. But... where's my badge? I've looked for apps that would encourage me to start eating better, but to my surprise... nothing. At least nothing I thought I would be motivated by. I know badges are what I need to kick it into gear, so I dreamed up the Comida Challenge. What is it? A blog where I will explore healthy, wholesome dishes from every country in the world. If I get inspired, maybe I'll try creating a badge for each country accomplished. Here we go, 195 badges to healthy eating!
